Musicians from near and far (Westwood Commons)
March 21, 2013 (North Chili, NY) ─ Melodies fill the halls of Westwood Commons thanks to several area musical groups.
The Westwood Commons Playboys have become a favorite among residents. Pictured here are (top row, left to right) are Rick Nicholson, Adam Hendel, Tony Peoni, all from Brockport, and Frank Kessler of Churchville, Rick Hendel of Brockport, along with Westwood Commons residents Hazel Conroy, Effie Simpson, Jeannine Corriveau and Louise Mitchell.
Residents enjoyed light classical and popular music performed by the Eastman Clarinet Duo, consisting of Richard Li, originally from Chicago, and Tiffany Valvo from Sarasota, Florida.
“We love entertaining and interacting with people through our music,” said Valvo.
As individuals, Valvo and Li have both been playing the clarinet for 13 years. The duo has been performing together for two years. They are pictured here with Westwood Commons resident Hazel Conroy.
