May 10, 2013 (Mt. Airy, NC) ─ At Twelve Oaks, April showers bloomed spring hats in all colors, shapes and sizes. Residents recently decorated straw hats with flowers, ribbons, buttons, paint, costume jewelry and decorative appliqués. The activity culminated with a spring hat parade complete with a resident marching band.

“Everyone had a blast,” said Joyce. “My ladies were all smiles as we received claps and cheers from residents and staff alike.”
