Springing into Summer (Wexford House)
May 14, 2013 (Denver, NC ─ From planting trees for Arbor Day to making their own pinwheels, Wexford House residents have been springing into summer with a number of seasonal activities.
Pictured here, Wexford House resident Rick Taylor and Maintenance Director James Hall plant a yellow delicious apple tree in recognition of Arbor Day.
Following the tree planting, residents discussed the origins of Arbor Day with a round of trivia.
Residents have also been catching the spring breeze with homemade pinwheels. Using a piece of scrap paper, a pencil and a straight pin, Wexford House resident Tommy Ledford created a pinwheel during a recent crafting activity.
