Summer Carnival a Big Splash! (Horizons)
July 26, 2013 (Canandaigua, NY) ─ Mix a duck pond with a dunking booth and you’ve got the recipe for some good old fashioned summer fun. Horizons, a DePaul Senior Living Community, recently hosted a summer carnival. A clown entertained residents, staff and family while they competed for prizes in games such as ring toss, skee-ball and tic-tac-toss, while snacking on corn dogs and cotton candy.
Pictured clockwise above, Horizons Administrator Melissa Brien braces herself to get wet in the dunking booth; Horizons residents Brad and Ruth Stanton enjoy the summer carnival along with residents Rose Ramsdell, Dorothy Mang, Barb Troy and Charles VanDeMar, and Horizons resident June Jensen is joined by family members son-in-law Richard Lovejoy, great-granddaughter Sarah Lovejoy, granddaughter Kim Lovejoy, her daughter Sandy Lovejoy and Robin Alexander, a volunteer from Zion Fellowship of Canandaigua.
