July 31, 2013 (North Chili, NY) ─ Residents and staff at Westwood Commons, a DePaul Senior Living Community, were recently treated to the best ice cream in Rochester. Winners of the 2013 Rochester ROCS! award for Best Ice Cream in Rochester, LuGia’s on Wheels paid a visit to Westwood Commons in late-July.

Westwood Commons resident Minnie Corigliano’s daughter and son-in-law Melinda and Lou Ferrari own and opened LuGia’s Ice Cream in 1995. The ice cream shop, headquartered at 4719 Lyell Road in Spencerport, was recently voted #1 in WHEC-TV’s Rochester ROCS! Contest.
