Splendors of Nature (Woodcrest Commons)
September 27, 2013 (Henrietta, NY) ─ As fall arrives in Monroe County, Woodcrest Commons residents have been getting up close and personal with the splendors of nature.
In late-August, residents visited Wild Wings, a non-profit educational organization that houses and cares for permanently injured birds of prey in Mendon Ponds Park.

In early-September, Woodcrest Commons fed fish at the Fish Hatchery at Powder Mills. Fishing is not permitted at the hatchery. The fish are used to stock the surrounding rivers and streams which are sites for multiple fishing derbies held throughout the season.
