October 17, 2013 (Wallace, NC) ─ Residents and staff from Dayspring of Wallace, a DePaul Senior Living Community in Wallace, recently cheered on participants in the 5th Annual Pet Friends of Duplin County 5K Fun Run/3K Pet Walk at River Landing in Wallace in early September. Residents recognized a few of the dogs who frequently visit Dayspring of Wallace to provide pet therapy.

“Getting out to such a pretty place as River Landing and greeting the dogs and their owners made residents feel very happy and useful,” said Activities Director Lisa Rich. “We were rewarded in smiles, tail wags and a few sloppy kisses.”
