DePaul Welcomes Pee Dee Gardens

January 17, 2014 (Florence, SC) ─ Pee Dee Gardens, a 68-bed senior living community in Florence, South Carolina, has joined the DePaul Adult Care Communities family. Based in Rochester, New York, DePaul is a private, not-for-profit organization founded in 1958.

With a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for its residents, Pee Dee Gardens provides the comforts of home and personal care services in a supportive environment that promotes independence. Staff work closely with residents and family members to develop a personalized approach to delivering support and services which appropriately meet each residents’ needs.

Licensed by the South Carolina Department of Health and Human Services, Pee Dee Gardens provides affordable, all-inclusive services, with fully furnished units including studioes, deluxe studios, one-bedroom and two-bedroom models. Memory care rooms are also offered.

Amenities include 24-hour access to staff, three nutritious meals approved by a registered dietician and snacks, medication assistance and assistance with the activities of daily living, as needed. Pee Dee Gardens offers a full schedule of life-enriching activities, fun outings, events and worship services, and a beauty/barbershop on premises. Services such as housekeeping and laundry are available.

DePaul currently cares for over 1,700 seniors at 14 senior living communities in North Carolina and five in New York state. In addition, DePaul provides affordable housing, mental health residential and treatment services, and vocational programs.
