Soakin’ Up Summer (Wexford House)
June 26, 2014 (Denver, NC) ─ Summer has arrived and residents at Wexford House, a DePaul Senior Living Community in Denver, are soaking up the sun and fun!

Residents recently reeled in some fun in the sun and a few fish at Lake Norman with assistance from Administrative Assistant Chris Brown, Activities Director Tabatha Funderburk and her 14-year-old son Brian Funderburk. Pictured here, residents Mandy Carver and Richard Taylor enjoy fishing while Evelyn Simmons and Joyce Beard sunbathe on the banks of the river. The activity wrapped up with a hamburger and hot dog barbeque.

Wexford House residents also exercised their green thumbs in gardening club. Pictured here, Eileen Ellis and Frank Carson help brighten up the senior community’s back patio by planting flowers donated by Garden Shed and More, Tractor Supply in pots donated by residents’ families.
