August 14, 2014 (Mt. Airy, NC) ─ A worm on the hook, a flick of the wrist and then it was a matter of waiting and watching the bobber for a bite! Residents of Twelve Oaks, a DePaul Senior Living Community in Mt. Airy, recently cast their lines into the fishing pond at Mt. Airy’s Westwood Park.

Residents enjoyed the serene tranquility of sitting on the handicapped accessible dock and reeling in some fun.

“Unfortunately they didn’t catch any fish but I don’t believe it took any fun out of themselves waiting for it to happen,” said Activities Director Anna Burford.
