In a League of Their Own (Southfork)
April 16, 2015 (Winston-Salem, NC) ─ As she sent her ball rolling down the wooden lane, Southfork resident Jean Ouellette channeled her late husband Alfred. The two met at the roller skating rink and would often follow that up with bowling at the alleys next door.
“I never could get him to dance though,” said Ouellette.
High fives, laughter and memories took precedence over the score during Southfork’s recent visit to Creekside Lanes. The DePaul Senior Living Community enjoyed a few games of ten pin and plenty of laughs during a recent visit to the area bowling center.

“Bowling is not only a beneficial exercise, it’s a chance for residents to let loose and get to know one another better,” said Parrish.
