May 15, 2015 (Canandaigua, NY) ─ Horizons, a DePaul Senior Living Community in Canandaigua, would like to thank the employees from Liberty Mutual Insurance’s Victor and Webster offices for volunteering to spruce up the building and grounds on May 8.

Liberty Mutual staff pulled weeds, planted flowers, scraped and painted hand railings, washed windows and even helped serve food at picnic with residents at Kershaw Park and visited residents in their rooms.

“It was a beautiful day and their work is greatly appreciated,” said Horizons Administrator Stacie Major.

Liberty Mutual employees from the Webster and Victor have volunteered at Horizons for two years as part of the insurance carrier’s “Serve With Liberty Program.” In 2014, more than 26,000 Liberty Mutual employees completed over 2,000 events in 20 countries throughout the world.

“We are very fortunate to volunteer at DePaul. They are a very reputable organization and we share the same views towards bettering our local communities,” said Sales Representative Kevin Mucci.
