Active Aging (Wexford House)
September 23, 2015 (Denver, NC) ─ Active Aging Week, celebrated September 27 to October 3, is a celebration of aging and active living. At Wexford House, a DePaul Senior Living Community in Denver, there are opportunities to participate in wellness activities in an engaging, friendly and fun environment with exercise activities offered four days a week.

Morning exercises are scheduled Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday mornings at Wexford House, with sessions lasting about 35 minutes. Residents use their own body weight as well as props to work out their arms, legs and core muscles while listening to the oldies.
“They not only build strength with the physical aspect, but it clears their minds to prepare them for their day,” said Activities Director Leslie Spinner. “This class is an essential part of most of our residents’ day!”
Residents also enjoyed a recent visit to the area bowling alley, Pin Station. Bowling is just one of many activities scheduled each month at the DePaul Senior Living Community in Denver.
