Honoring Our Nation’s Veterans (Cambridge House)
November 10, 2015 (Hildebran, NC) ─ Veterans Day is an opportunity to recognize some of the 23 million brave men and women who have selflessly served our country and risked their lives to protect our freedoms. Cambridge House, a DePaul Senior Living Community in Hildebran, has the honor of caring for several area veterans.
Frank Ballew served in France, the Philippines and
Japan during World War II. He served as a T3 in the
Army’s 142nd Obaum Battalion.
Claude Barger served in the South Pacific
during World War II as T5 and M50 Engineer in the Army.
Billy Clontz served as a 3rd Class Petty Officer
in the Navy during the Korean War.
Thomas Puett served in Germany during

Army’s 359th Regiment, 3rd Battalion.
