Honoring Our Nation’s Veterans (Southfork)
November 10, 2015 (Winston-Salem, NC) ─ Veterans Day is an opportunity to recognize some of the 23 million brave men and women who have selflessly served our country and risked their lives to protect our freedoms. Southfork, a DePaul Senior Living Community in Winston-Salem, has the honor of caring for several area veterans.
Dorothy Belle Cole served as an Airplane Dispatcher
in the Air Force from 1944-1945, stationed at the
Bolling Field Air Force Base.
Johnnie Montgomery served as a Sergeant
in the Air Force stationed in Newfoundland,
Alaska, Canada and Colorado.
Also living at Southfork is veteran Donald Houser who served in the Army stationed in Arizona from 1957-1959. Join us in honoring these and other veterans sacrifices with this special tribute video featuring residents from DePaul programs in New York, North Carolina and South Carolina: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kgEFdgHEwyU.
