November 11, 2015 (North Chili, NY) ─ Veterans Day is an opportunity to recognize some of the 23 million brave men and women who have selflessly served our country and risked their lives to protect our freedoms. Westwood Commons, a DePaul Senior Living Community in North Chili, has the honor of caring for several area veterans.

Toby Birch, Westwood Commons, a DePaul Senior Living CommunityJames “Toby” Birch served as a
Radar First Class specialist in the Navy
during the Korean War.

 

 

 

Bobby Buhler, Westwood Commons, a DePaul Senior Living CommunityBobby Buhler served as a Tank Commander
in the Marines during the Korean War.

 

 

 

 

Patricia Carberry, Westwood Commons, a DePaul Senior Living CommunityPatricia Carberry served in the
US Air Force Nurse Corps in South Dakota,
England, Alabama, Montana and Saudi Arabia.

 

 

 

 

Ron Clar, Westwood Commons, a DePaul Senior Living CommunityDon Clar served as a Commanding Officer
in the Army in Panama during World War II.
