Honoring Our Nation’s Veterans (Wexford House)
November 10, 2015 (Denver, NC) ─ Veterans Day is an opportunity to recognize some of the 23 million brave men and women who have selflessly served our country and risked their lives to protect our freedoms. Wexford House, a DePaul Senior Living Community in Denver, has the honor of caring for several area veterans.
Frank Courson served as Petty Officer
3rd Class in the Navy during the Vietnam War.
Larry “Joe” Elmore served as a 2nd class Signalman
in the Navy during the Vietnam War.
William “Bill” Wooten served as a 1st Lieutenant
during the Vietnam War.
Edward C. Stelling served as a
1st class Seaman in the Navy.
Other veterans living at Wexford House include Mike Lewis (Marine Corps Reservist) and Ray Patrick (Navy). Join us in honoring these and other veterans sacrifices with this special tribute video featuring residents from DePaul programs in New York, North Carolina and South Carolina: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kgEFdgHEwyU.
