Honoring Our Nation’s Veterans (Woodridge)
November 11, 2015 (Monroe, NC) ─ Veterans Day is an opportunity to recognize some of the 23 million brave men and women who have selflessly served our country and risked their lives to protect our freedoms. Woodridge Assisted Living and Memory Care, a DePaul Senior Living Community in Monroe, has the honor of caring for several area veterans.
Harold Drillings served in the Navy
during World War II.
William Estridge serve in the Army and Air Force
during the Korean War.
Leroy Horne served as a Sergeant in the Army
stationed in Germany.
Richard Marquard served in the Navy.
Robert Stoletz served as a Sergeant and
Army Engineer Instructor in the Army,
stationed at Fort Leonard Wood,
and in Missouri and Korea during the Korean War.
Ted Vargas served in the U.S. Merchant Marines
during World War II.
