May 20, 2016 (Cheektowaga, NY) ─ From the Florida everglades to the African rainforests, residents from Glenwell, a DePaul Senior Living Community in Cheektowaga, soaked up the beauty of Buffalo’s Botanical Gardens. The inquisitive botanists’ self-guided tour included everything from exotic orchids and flowering tropical plants to soothing water features and eye-catching art.
Pictured here are Glenwell residents Lois Calos and Irmgard Pamer enjoying a recent visit to the Buffalo Botanical Gardens. Ivy, bonsai, carnivorous plants and begonias thrived in the warm temperatures in the greenhouses.
