There are a lot of assisted living communities in the area, but there are not a lot that offer memory care units in Florence, said Regency Hospice Community Relations Director Carmen Richardson.

“To have that partnership with Pee Dee Gardens is great because we have patients all the time that decline and need to go into a memory care unit,” said Richardson “We like to have those relationships built up so we know which facility works best for them, what’s suitable for them and their family, being in there constantly, we’re able to marry a patient to the right memory care unit.”

Pee Dee Gardens also enjoys partnerships with several other area hospice providers including Embrace Hospice, Agape Hospice, Homestead Hospice, McLeod Hospice, MSA Hospice and Pruitt Home Health.
