Irish Eyes are Smiling (Westwood Commons)
March 29, 2018 (North Chili, NY) – A visit from Anastasia’s Spotlight Dancers, music by Diamond Jim, and a visit from Westwood Commons’ very own leprechaun had Irish eyes a smiling at the DePaul Senior Living Community in North Chili.
Pictured above are Westwood Commons residents Eleanor Mostek and Jeanette Fairthorne with dance student Olivia Mundell, as well as resident Florence Vancott with Westwood Commons’ leprechaun and cook Joe Blasetti.
Celebrating its 15 year anniversary this year, Anastasia’s Spotlight Dance of Churchville has become a favorite tradition at Westwood.
Students ranging in age from six- to 18-years-old performed a variety of dance styles for residents on their recent visit including Irish, lyrical, jazz, ballet, musical theater, hip-hop and contemporary.
“Our students truly enjoy and look forward to performing at Westwood. They feel it is a rewarding experience and a blessing to the residents,” said instructor Amanda Ball. “Being a Christian setting we strive to impact our community in a positive way; one of the many ways we achieve this is through our visits to Westwood Commons.”
Pictured here at Westwood Commons are Anastasia’s Spotlight Dance students Abbie Stair, Kaitlyn Cope, Morgan Noce, Emily McCane, Riley Bauer and Kaitlyn Sipes.
