Support Project Frontlines (Heath House)
June 20, 2018 (Lincolnton, NC) ─ Heath House needs your help to support the troops! The DePaul Senior Living Community located in Lincolnton is collecting items for care packages to be sent to a 26-member platoon as part of the Adopt A US Soldier Program.
Pictured above, Heath House resident Phyllis Spence waves the American flag while Arvin Gabbard, Mary Ingle and Brenda Parker show off their patriotism by writing cards and letters of encouragement to be included in the care packages. The senior living community is seeking donations of quality protein bars, resistance bands, leathersmithing supplies, weight lifting and boxing gear, solar showers, insect netting, tarps and snacks (no chocolate) from the public for Project Frontlines.
Donations are being accepted now through Thursday, July 12 at Heath House, located at 919 Wilma Sigmon Road in Lincolnton. The care packages will be sent to a platoon of soldiers that are currently deployed overseas to a remote area.
