Three Cheers for Senior Olympics (Westwood Commons)
October 31, 2018 (North Chili, NY) ─ Residents of Westwood Commons, a DePaul Senior Living Community in North Chili, competed in the 11th Annual DePaul Senior Olympics on Friday, October 19 at DePaul’s Recreation Center located at 1931 Buffalo Road in Rochester.
Pictured above, Manuel Gutierrez accepts a medal from Activity Coordinator Austin Pettigrew for ladder golf while Joyce Vembre shows off her medal for a third place finish in Wii bowling. Events included a spelling bee, word search, ladder golf, shuffleboard, a putting green, bean bag toss, Wii Bowling and Keep Up.
Pictured above, Judy Kinch took second place in the spelling bee, Barbara Stein is a picture of concentration during the word search competition and Ruth Jameson is all smiles during the 11th Annual DePaul Senior Olympics.
Westwood Commons participated in the annual games along with residents from four other DePaul Senior Living Communities – Woodcrest Commons in Henrietta, Glenwell in Cheektowaga, Horizons in Canandaigua and Wheatfield Commons in North Tonawanda.
