November 9, 2018 (Mt. Airy, NC) ─ It was an afternoon of pomp and circumstance aimed at honoring area veterans that residents of Twelve Oaks, a DePaul Senior Living Community in Mt. Airy, will not soon forget. Mountain Valley Hospice and Palliative Care recently hosted the 2018 Veteran’s Ball at The Barn at Heritage Farm.

Pictured above making memories at the Veteran’s Ball are Twelve Oaks residents David Carpenter, Alsa Wenzel, Hilda Bowen and Bobby Thomas. Veterans and their guests enjoyed refreshments and a live band as part of efforts to recognize them for their courage and commitment to serving the country.
