July 17, 2019 (Hildebran, NC) ─ Cambridge House, a DePaul Senior Living Community in Hildebran, pulled out all the stops to celebrate Independence Day!

Pictured clockwise above are Cambridge House residents Cheryl Reynolds, Bonnie Autrey, Thomas James Helton and Daniel Barnes. After a patriotic-themed face painting and trivia, residents enjoyed a fourth of July cookout complete with watermelon, punch and strawberry, blueberry and white chocolate chip muffins. The celebration continued with a round of singing “God Bless America” and sparklers and Party Pop-its on the porch!

Activities Director Gabriana Houston said the celebration brought back fun memories from the past.

“Residents were so excited to light off some sparklers,” said Houston. “Their smiles lit up the room and the sound of their laughter was absolutely contagious.”
