Creativity on Display at Craft Bazaar (Dayspring of Wallace)
November 5, 2019 (Wallace, NC) ─ Handmade quilts, pillows, dish cloths, hanging hand towels and much more will be on display at a craft sale this weekend at Dayspring of Wallace, a DePaul Senior Living Community in Wallace. Located at 4026 Highway 11 South, Dayspring of Wallace’s Fall Craft Bazaar runs from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Friday, November 8 and Saturday, November 9.
Look beyond the painstaking needlework, each loop of crochet work and button sewn with love and you’ll find many helpers with decades of crafting experience. Pictured above on left Dayspring of Wallace resident Velma Jenkins shows off finished pillows, pictured center is Elizabeth “Skeet” Horrell with the popular tractor quilt, and on right, Linda Porter prepares squares for quilts.
A wide variety of crafts and artwork including quilts, aprons, kitchen towels, soup bowl warmers, crochet soap savers, coasters, adult hats and scarfs and much more will be available for purchase at this weekend’s Bazaar which is hosted by the Dayspring of Wallace Resident Council. Proceeds will be used for the recreation fund.
