Making Holiday Magic (Twelve Oaks)

January 16, 2020 (Mt. Airy, NC) ─ Whether it was giving or receiving, there was plenty of holiday magic to go around at Twelve Oaks, a DePaul Senior Living Community in Mt. Airy.

Holiday magic was also made possible thanks to community members and local entertainers! Pictured above, veterans Bobby Thomas, Floyd Sexton, Leonard Money, Charlie Goins, David Carpenter, Burton Brannock and James Travis received gifts from the Mt. Airy Marine Corps Recruitment Office. In addition, the Mt. Airy American Legion Post 191 donated gifts for veterans.  Also pictured above, Twelve Oaks resident Claud Taylor accepts one of the stuffed animals which were donated by Zoe Draughn and friend Mattie Bare, both from Gentry Middle School. Haymore Baptist Church also donated gifts for residents this holiday season and Christmas carols were provided by students with the Cedar Ridge and White Plains elementary schools, and The Golden Notes.
