April 17, 2020 (Denver, NC) ─  April showers have given bloom to a myriad of colorful and heartfelt crafts at Wexford House, a DePaul Senior Living Community in Denver.

Pictured clockwise above, Betty Griffin and Phebe Cannup show off tissue paper Easter egg crafts which they made; Charlene Davis sends out a virtual bouquet of flowers to her family on Easter, and Tony Malagese chuckles at a homemade Easter card he received from Wexford House Activities Director Leslie Spinner’s daughter Michelle Perkins, grandchildren Carson and Casey, along with friend Tessa Massey and her son Chandler.

“Kindness is not an act it’s a lifestyle and that’s what I want to teach my kids,” said Perkins. “People might forget your name, but they won’t forget how you made them feel. We get just as happy seeing the residents as they get seeing us.”
