September 11, 2020 (Cheektowaga, NY) ─   While the joys of parenting may be endless, there’s no greater pleasure than getting to be the grandparent who has all the fun!  Residents at Glenwell, a DePaul Senior Living Community in Cheektowaga, prepared to celebrate the perks of Grandparents Day on September 13 with some fond memories!

Pictured above on left, resident Esther Pelletterie said “the best thing about having grandchildren is you get to keep them for a while, spoil and love them but you can always send them back home.”

Pictured above in center, grandma and great-grandma Ann Grosskopf said “I love being around all the kids and spending time with them.”

Pictured above on right, resident Laura Whitred said her favorite memory “was how excited the kids got when they found out they were going to see Grandma or were going to Grandma’s house. They were always so excited to see me.”
