Crafting Up a Happy Holiday at Pee Dee Gardens
January 14, 2021 (Florence, SC) ─ The holidays may have looked and felt different this year, but residents and staff at Pee Dee Gardens, a DePaul Senior Living Community in Florence, found plenty of ways to enjoy the magic of the season!
Pictured clockwise above, resident Sinthia Murphy decorates cookies, Christine Cash makes pinecone incense, Eva Mae Sims melts peppermint candies into a sweet bowl and Callie Streater displays a gingerbread house she assembled. Pictured below beside the fireplace at Pee Dee Gardens are residents Harry O’Brien and Shirley Pearson.
Among some of the many individuals, community groups, business and family members who made sure that residents and staff had a happy and healthy holiday at Pee Dee Gardens were the Bay Branch Free Will Church which donated lap blankets for memory care residents, Alisa Muir and her family who donated poinsettias to the community, Regency Hospice, Kindred Home Health and Agape Hospice for providing lunch for staff, along with help from Wendi Jeffery and Cotilla Coe and to Selina White for providing breakfast for the entire staff!
Many thanks to those who have made a difference! The outpouring of donations of support in recent months has truly been overwhelming. We are beyond grateful!
