January 13, 2021 (Mt. Airy, NC) ─ The holidays may have looked and felt different this year, but residents and staff at Twelve Oaks, a DePaul Senior Living Community in Mt. Airy, found plenty of ways to enjoy the magic of the season!

Pictured below, residents Robert Richardson, Vivian Lakey and Activities Director Tina Allen let their holiday spirit shine!

Among some of the many individuals, community groups, business and family members who made sure that residents and staff had a happy and healthy holiday at Twelve Oaks were:

• The Surry County Marine Corps League, Detachment #1322, Mt. Airy American Legion and VFW Auxiliary Post 2019 donated gifts for veterans
• James H. Wells, DDS, PA provided blessing bags for residents.
• Kathy Bricker donated a bag full of sweet treats
• The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter‐Day Saints provided treat bags for all staff members
• Mountain Valley Hospice & Palliative Care provided goodies for staff
• Family member Pat Garr provided a fruit tray for staff
• John Bowes and John Jr. Bowes brought treats for staff
• Scarlett Dowdy contributed goodie baskets for staff
• Staff relished a tray of homemade cookies from Ruth Ann Gilbert
• Janet Hooker brought cake for staff

Many thanks to those who have made a difference at Twelve Oaks! The outpouring of donations of support in recent months has truly been overwhelming. We are beyond grateful!
