July 28, 2021 (Cheektowaga, NY) ─ Summer fun is on tap at Glenwell with everything from casino night to a luau! Residents are staying cool and having fun with a flurry of activity at the DePaul Senior Living Community in Cheektowaga.

Pictured above, Sharllann Kingsley, Angeline Cruver and Catherine Wilkins place their bets during casino night. Residents enjoyed punch, snacks and participating in games including high low, blackjack, poker and bingo using ‘Glenwell Bucks’ which can be exchanged for items at the Glenwell Store. Slots were played using iN2L, a person-centered engagement technology with touch-screen capacity.

All that was missing were island breezes as Glenwell transformed into a colorful luau complete with hula dancing, flower wreaths and an ice cream bar!  Residents and staff were given Hawaiian names for the night and dressed up for this fun theme party.
