Feeling the Summer Love (Wexford House)
July 15, 2021 (Denver, NC) ─ There’s much to love about the warmer weather! Residents at Wexford House, a DePaul Senior Living Community in Denver, are soaking up all the summer love with fun contests, festivities, and heartfelt donations!
Pictured on the left, Aida Martinez holds a zucchini grown by Administrator Amy Smith. Residents had some fun guessing the weight of the produce, which wound up weighing in at three-pounds, twelve ounces!
Pictured in the middle, Christine Whitworth shows off her July 4th spirit thanks to a fun parade organized by Denver United Methodist Church and Carol Brown. The church members also provided patriotic flowered leis, flags and delicious cookies.
Pictured on the right, Donna Parker enjoys some summer reading and a beautiful, durable denim walker bag made and donated by Wanda Reynolds, a community member who is also from the Denver United Methodist Church.
