August 30, 2021 (Lockport, NY) ─ From a mime, clown and friendly lion to a dunk tank, caricatures, games and prizes, Heritage Manor of Lockport pulled out all the stops to bring the carnival to residents of the Senior Living Community in Lockport.

Pictured clockwise above soaking up the festivities, Alice Remus poses in the photo booth, Jim Vasi shows off his bingo win, Sharon Thompson gets in on the fun, and Dietary Aide Liz Harrer displays a caricature from Carnival.

Staff members played the part including Dietary Aide Maggie Burtiger as a mime, Assistant Resident Care Director Michelle Pham as a clown and Administrator Shannon Radlich and her dog Shelby as a lion tamer and lion! And the event was complete with staples like fresh popped popcorn and fried cakes with powdered sugar!

“The day was a full sensory experience, complete with the sights, smells and sounds, conjuring up memories of carnival and circuses of the past for all,” said Radlich.
