Assisted Living in the Spotlight at Pee Dee Gardens
September 21, 2021 (Florence, SC) ─ “Compassion, Community, Caring,” the theme of National Assisted Living Week from September 12-18, was on display at Pee Dee Gardens, a DePaul Senior Living Community in Florence, South Carolina.
Special events and themed socials were on tap at Pee Dee Gardens aimed at recognizing the hard work and dedication of caregivers in assisted living communities and highlighting the importance of family and remaining connected to loved ones.
Pictured clockwise above, residents Charles Green and Joan Floyd discover the magic of Disney Day, Barbara Hopkins gets into the spirit of Superhero Day and Helen Caison keeps her eyes on the horizon on Western Day.
Pictured above, Personal Care Assistant Destiny Hendricks received first place for the costume contest on Superhero Day, while Activities Director Jeanne Schneider dresses the part. Than you to Regency Hospice and Winyah Pharmacy for providing lunch for staff and to SC House Calls for arranging for an ice cream truck to treat both residents and staff last week!
