August 2, 2022 (Cheektowaga, NY) ─ From homegrown celebrations to adventures on the town, there are no shortage of summer fun on deck at Glenwell, a DePaul Senior Living Community in Cheektowaga.

Pictured top left, Ann Grosskopf enjoys a Hawaiian Night. Festivities included learning how to tell a story using hula dance, games including flip-flop toss and volcano bean bag toss, crafting Haku Leis and listening to Hawaiian music. The menu included pigs in a blanket, grapes, fresh pineapple and refreshing fruit punch.

Pictured top right, Paul Armbruster shows off  an upcycled paper bag craft project donated by CarePatrol of Buffalo-Niagara in honor of National Paper Bag Day and in appreciation for the care provided at Glenwell. Pictured bottom row, left to right, Joann Schascheck and Ruby Joiner enjoy a visit to the Japanese Garden of Buffalo during a scenic drive to Delaware Park.
