November 5, 2022 (Cheektowaga, NY) ─ There’s been a cornucopia of reasons to smile and ways to celebrate the season at Glenwell, a DePaul Senior Living Community in Cheektowaga.

Pictured top row, on left, Glenwell recognized Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October with a week of themed pink clothing days including shirts, hats, and socks. Residents Geraldine Militello and Nancy Pollino pose near the pink balloon arch erected for the occasion.

Pictured top row, in middle, Jean Kisker paints a papier-mâché pumpkin, while Raymonde LeMieux, pictured top row, on right, soaks up the Halloween fun at Glenwell. Festivities included carving pumpkins, fishing for apples and enjoying candy, donuts, and cider.

Glenwell was recently recognized as the top fundraising team in the long-term care facility category for the 2022 Erie County Alzheimer’s Association WNY Walk to End Alzheimer’s which took place in September! Maddie Weitz from the Alzheimer’s Association presented staff with a trophy, breakfast and other goodies.
