Come One, Come All, To Carnival at Woodcrest Commons
August 25, 2023 (Henrietta, NY) ─ Fun could be found around every corner during a recent Carnival at Woodcrest Commons, a DePaul Senior Living Community in Henrietta. Residents, family and staff enjoyed a petting zoo from Stokoe Farms, Lugia’s Ice Cream, snow cones, popcorn a dunk tank, games, prizes and more!
Pictured top row, left to right, Myrtie Travis, Case Manager Shadajah Robinson, and Terry Renford get ready to dig into ice cream sundaes, while Administrative Assistant Tammy Omeluch assists Andrea Heath in choosing a prize after playing the Duck Pond game. Pictured bottom row, left to right, Walter Green pets a kangaroo held by Woodcrest Commons Administrator Athena Collazo and Simeon Kolko snacks on popcorn.
Also pictured bottom row, far right, are Terry Glover and Bishop John W. Parker sporting matching Mickey Mouse shirts, pins and finger puppets. Bishop has been at Woodcrest Commons for two years and Terry moved in less than a year ago. The two residents instantly bonded over their mutual love of Mickey Mouse and both have been called Mickey by their families for years.
