September 22, 2023 (Cheektowaga, NY) ─   Merriment, fanfare and reminiscing ushered in National Assisted Living Week (NALW) at Glenwell, a DePaul Senior Living Community in Cheektowaga. Celebrated from September 10-16, NALW is an opportunity for residents, their loved ones, staff, volunteers and the community to recognize the role of assisted living in caring for seniors and individuals with disabilities.

The theme of this year’s NALW was a Season of Reflection. Glenwell celebrated with musical entertainment, themed spirit days, karaoke and much more! Pictured bottom row, left to right, Jean Bautz shows off her Buffalo Bills pride and Assemblymember Monica Wallace visits with Glenwell residents Bonnie Roos, Shirley Kasinski and Sharllann Kingsley during a 1960s and 70s themed day which included gelato from Sweet Melody’s.
