Season of Reflection at Wheatfield Commons
September 26, 2023 (North Tonawanda, NY) ─ Merriment, fanfare and reminiscing ushered in National Assisted Living Week (NALW) at Wheatfield Commons, a DePaul Senior Living Community in North Tonawanda. Celebrated from September 10-16, NALW is an opportunity for residents, their loved ones, staff, volunteers and the community to recognize the role of assisted living in caring for seniors and individuals with disabilities.

Residents at Wheatfield Commons have been celebrating all month long in a multitude of ways. Pictured top row, left to right, Carmella Fortuna sports a homemade hat to cheer on the Buffalo Bills, Clare Tilyou enjoys the antics of Dally the clown from Niagara Clown Alley during Carnival Day, and Patricia Bartlett arrives at a walker wash. Pictured bottom row, left to right, Gerald Farr, Keith Brooks, Julian Hutton and Tomasina Cammarata celebrate the 60s with music, games and a fun photo shoot, and Reta Boettner shows off her NALW spirit with a homemade tie-dye shirt.
