October 24, 2024 (Cheektowaga, NY) ─ Fall festivities are on tap at Glenwell, a DePaul Senior Living Community in Cheektowaga, with engaging outings, delicious activities and creative celebrations.

Pictured bottom left, Glenwell residents honored Hispanic Heritage Month, celebrated September 15 to October 15, by playing Lotería, a board game, and by making mantecaditos, Puerto Rican shortbread cookies with almond flavoring. Marion Fry showed off the completed confections. Pictured bottom middle, Marilyn Deans and Sonia Sanchez enjoyed singing and dancing with the Oyer Group thanks to the Canopy of Neighbors’ Musical Memories Café!

Pictured bottom right, Glenwell Marketing Director Stacy Jasinski and Administrator Tina Hagen participated in the Alzheimer’s Association WNY’s Walk to End Alzheimer’s on Saturday, September 28 at the Buffalo Waterfront along with other staff, residents and family members. Glenwell raised $5,754 and was recognized as one of the highest contributing teams! Thank you to all those who attended and supported this meaningful annual event!
