A Valentine’s Day to Remember at Glenwell
March 5, 2025 (Cheektowaga, NY) ─ Love and kindness were in full bloom at Glenwell this Valentine’s Day, as residents of the DePaul Senior Living Community in Cheektowaga enjoyed a day of thoughtful surprises, special gifts, and uplifting connections with local volunteers.

Hope Rises hosted the second annual “Love Yourself” celebration featuring glam sessions with hair styling and manicures, engaging crafts led by local Girl Scouts, and a variety of generous gifts, including Squishmallow stuffed animals and handmade soaps from Creations By Marissa. Residents also received handmade Valentine’s cards from GWFA Gallery, Our Lady of Victory Elementary School, and Mrs. Joyce’s class at Global Concepts Charter School. The celebration was complete with live music by Brian Beaudry, photography by Ashley Lynn Photography, and countless moments of joy and connection.
