Resident Care Supervisor – Wheatfield Commons

Job Summary:

As a Resident Care Supervisor, you’ll lead a team of healthcare professionals (Resident Care Assistants (RCAs), Personal Care Aides (PCAs), Home Health Aides (HHAs) and Medication Technicians) in delivering quality care to our residents at Wheatfield Commons, a senior living community in North Tonawanda.

Wheatfield Commons is currently hiring full-time and part-time positions for both Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and non-LPN Resident Care Supervisors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leads a team of healthcare professionals and clearly communicates with staff regarding residents’ and site’s needs
  • Listens and responds to residents’ requests cheerfully and promptly to support their medical, physical, emotional and cognitive needs
  • Provides appropriate referrals for residents to service providers
  • Provides coverage for Medication Technicians or Resident Care Assistants as needed

Pay Range:

  • $22.50 – $23.10 for LPN positions
  • $18.00 – $18.30 for non-LPN positions

Requirements:

  • At least 18 years of age
  • High School diploma or GED preferred. CNA, HHA or PCA certification preferred
  • LPN License (for LPN pay range) and one (1) year experience working in a caregiving capacity
  • Medication management and supervisory experience
  • Must be approved by the NYS Criminal Background Check (CHRC) unit and meet company employment criteria
  • Exceptional communication skills
